Jennifer M. Olson is a transformational, award-winning health care executive. She is recognized for her strategic leadership in driving enterprise health care solutions, and her ability to implement the discipline and culture required to position an organization for success.
Jennifer is the owner and senior partner of BlueInnovo Advisors, a strategic advisory firm focused on pushing the boundaries of success for healthcare organizations. At BlueInnovo, Jennifer and her team improve healthcare through authentic linkages between strategy and operations, curiosity and courage. Previously, Jennifer held senior leadership roles such as Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer, at Children’s Minnesota, a $1B pediatric healthcare system. Jennifer is consistently commended for her ability to lead cross-functional teams to solve complex problems while creating a culture of engagement.
The foundation of Jennifer’s career has been built on innovation and consultation, beginning with her work as a Management Engineer at the University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics, and much more deeply embedded at Deloitte Consulting in the Healthcare and Strategy Practice. This dedication to listening to her clients, high attention to detail, and a win-win attitude led her to create a differentiated and successful advisory practice, BlueInnovo Advisors.
Jennifer is a national board member for AXIONS, the International Society for Pediatric Innovation (iSPI), and the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST. She is a former board member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the March of Dimes Greater Minnesota. She is a member of the current faculty for a Center for Professional Education and Development with the University of Wisconsin Madison and serves on a healthcare advisory committee commissioned by the Dean of the School of Business.
Jennifer earned her MBA with a focus in Management and Health Care, and an undergraduate degree in Finance, both from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
