Tethys

Tethys has developed a microfluidic technology with a centrifugal pump that rotates up to 10K rpm to move fluids throughout microcircuits and thermoelectric modules at ~2m/s. When this technology is integrated into Tethys’ patented vest design, the microfluidic technology provides thermal comfort. This vest operates in extreme temperature conditions of -10 to 70°C and uses microfluidics to heat or cool users to 20-40°C within 20 seconds enhancing worker safety and productivity. The microfluidic technology is long lasting with 8 hours of operation between 2 interchangeable and rechargeable batteries.
