Harvest Systems is commercializing the HARVEST platform, a fuel-less, carbon-free water heating system that acts as a drop-in replacement for traditional water heaters within a restaurant environment. Using a novel attachable heat reclaimer, waste heat is captured directly from commercial cooking appliances (such as ovens and fryers) and stored in a hot water tank without affecting safety and performance; and has the optional ability to generate electricity. The technology directly offsets utility costs (such as electricity and fuel gas) not achievable by current water heater technologies.
