Amanda Taplett Johnson is an experienced professional in operations, engineering, and manufacturing. Currently, as the Senior Operations Executive at Re:Build Manufacturing, Amanda leverages a deep expertise in operations management and technology to supercharge performance of its subsidiaries by implementing core technologies across industrial platforms in diversified growth markets. Additionally, she served as the Director of Energy Infrastructure for Amazon Logistics (AMZL), leading a team to create an electric vehicle charging network for Amazon’s delivery fleet. This project, the largest of its kind, supports the Climate Pledge to achieve net-zero carbon by 2040. Previously, Amanda led engineering, design, and safety teams in AMZL, developing standards that enabled the launch of over 250 new buildings and retrofitting of 100 existing ones. Before AMZL, Amanda managed various programs at Amazon in Customer Fulfillment and worked at Boeing Commercial Airplanes for a decade, managing manufacturing teams and leading suppliers to increase production rate on the 787 Dreamliner, 747 Intercontinental, and KC-46 Pegasus Tanker.
