Carlo Bozotti is a seasoned international executive with over four decades of leadership in the global semiconductor industry. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of STMicroelectronics from 2005 to 2018, guiding the company’s transformation into one of the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers.

Bozotti began his career at SGS-ATES in 1977 and rose through successive senior roles in marketing, sales, and general management following the merger that created STMicroelectronics. Over his tenure, he led major product divisions, including the company’s memory business, and later chaired Numonyx, a joint venture between Intel and ST.

A former member of the European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT), Bozotti now serves as Industrial Partner at FSI, one of Europe’s largest private equity funds, and sits on the Supervisory Board of Besi and the Board of Directors of Avnet, both global leaders in semiconductor manufacturing and distribution.
