Albert McLelland is an accomplished entrepreneur, public company director, and senior executive currently helping to organize Breeze II, a second SPAC, as part of an experienced sponsor team leveraging proprietary international deal flow across high-growth sectors. Albert serves as Independent Director on the board of NASDAQ-listed YD Biopharma (“YDES”), following his active leadership role as Chairman of the Audit Committee in Breeze Holdings Acquisition Corp.’s successful business combination with YD Biopharma.
Throughout his career spanning investment banking, international private capital, and boardroom leadership, Albert has served as Independent Director, Audit Committee Chair, and Financial Expert for four NASDAQ-listed companies across biotechnology, AI, robotics, and financial services. As Managing Director of AmPac Strategic Capital LLC, he forged U.S.–China partnerships with institutions such as SDIC and CITIC. Albert also served as Chairman of the Special Committee overseeing the sale of China Fire & Security Group to Bain Capital. Earlier, he built and successfully exited two Asia-based financial services firms—Riddell*Tseng and Pearl Delta Capital—and led PwC’s Financial Services Chairman’s Cross-Border Transactions practice.
Albert holds degrees from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs, and the University of South Florida, and studied Mandarin at National Normal University in Taipei. Albert has shared his expertise as an advisory board member, guest lecturer, and adjunct professor at the business schools of Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, Fudan University, and the University of Texas at Dallas, where he chairs the North Texas Private Equity Council.
