Kris Kaczmarek

Kris Kaczmarek is a distinguished inventor, entrepreneur and investor. In his role as Investment Director at QDNL Participations, he invests globally in early stage quantum startups. Prior to joining QDNL-P, Kris led quantum investment activities at the VC fund and family office of early backer and former Chairman of CQC (now Quantinuum), Niels Nielsen.

Kris has a PhD from the University of Oxford, where he invented the quantum memory technology behind the quantum AI company ORCA Computing. As part of the management team at ORCA, he’s built and led teams in R&D, engineering, bizdev, product and AI. In 2021 he was featured in Forbes’ 30 under 30 list for his work in quantum technologies.
