Alexander Wiegelmann

Dr. Alexander Wiegelmann is Managing Partner at Munich-based Feast Ventures, an early-stage VC firm focused on food, agriculture and preventive health. He combines transaction expertise with deep agri-food sector experience, having spent nine years in investment banking and around ten years in the agricultural industry, including as Head of New Business Ventures at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA. At KWS, he helped build corporate venturing and innovation partnerships, working with startups across the agricultural technology ecosystem. He is also Chairman of the Board at SeedForward, an Osnabrück-based company developing biological seed-coating solutions. Wiegelmann holds a doctorate from the University of Potsdam, where his research focused on risk transfers into the shadow-finance sector and regulatory responses to the 2007/08 financial crisis.
