Mark Kahn is a Managing Partner at Omnivore, the leading agrifood venture capital firm in India. Omnivore supports visionary founders advancing food security, agricultural prosperity, resource efficiency, and rural resilience. Omnivore pioneered agritech and climate-smart venture investing in India and currently manages USD 275 million across two active venture funds.
Previously, Mark served as Executive Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at Godrej Agrovet, one of India’s foremost diversified agribusiness companies, and earlier in his career worked for Syngenta. He is the Sector Lead (Agriculture, Food, and Beverage) for the HBS Club of the GCC and serves on the Food & Agriculture Advisory Committee of The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN). Mark earned a BA (Honors) from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.
