Neoclease is leveraging generative AI to design custom gene editors for individual therapeutic targets, beginning with an LRRK2-targeting editor for Parkinson’s disease. The venture aims to address the one-size-fits-all approach taken by conventional gene-editing tools, which often compromises precision, safety, and delivery. By rapidly generating and rigorously validating thousands of candidate editors in silico, Neoclease approach accelerates discovery and early development timelines from months to days and demonstrates (in proof-of-concept studies) in vitro expanded targeting capabilities with miniaturized editors.
