Antoine Tesnière is a distinguished French professor of medicine, researcher, and entrepreneur, with a particular focus on Heath innovation, as well as public health and crisis management. As a specialist in anaesthesiology and critical care at the Georges Pompidou European Hospital, he has earned international recognition for his contributions to research and medical education. He has held prominent academic roles, including President of the Education Council at Paris Descartes Faculty of Medicine and Vice President at the University of Paris. Passionate about innovation and digital transformation, he co-founded iLumens, France’s pioneering healthcare simulation department. Since 2016, he has played key roles in public policy, serving as Health and Scientific Advisor and later coordinating the national COVID-19 response as Deputy Director of the Interministerial Crisis Centre. In April 2021, he became Director of PariSanté Campus, one of the largest Health Innovation ecosystem in Europe, and more recently, co-founded The French Care with Bpifrance, aiming to unite health sector stakeholders and accelerate innovation in healthcare.
