Ariel Lindner is a leading scientist in synthetic biology, systems biology, and immunology, with a career spanning fundamental research, biotechnology innovation, and bioengineering. He is Director of Research at INSERM, Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of the Paris Biofoundry, and a member of UNESCO’s International Bioethics Committee. His research focuses on engineering biological systems and advancing new approaches at the interface of biology, technology, and medicine. Beyond the laboratory, Ariel has played a central role in building the synthetic biology ecosystem through his leadership in iGEM, interdisciplinary education, and the creation of collaborative research initiatives. He brings deep expertise in synthetic biology, biofoundries, scientific entrepreneurship, research strategy, and translating cutting edge life science research into impactful technologies and ventures.
