Dr. Heidi LeBlanc is a seasoned translational medicine leader specializing in immuno-oncology and cancer biology. With over two decades of experience in the biotech industry, she excels in bridging preclinical discoveries with clinical development. She recently retired from Omeros, where she was advancing novel therapeutics targeting immune pathways in cancer.
Dr. LeBlanc has led biomarker development for oncology and inflammatory disease trials and has held pivotal roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Bolt Biotherapeutics, and Medarex, among others. Her expertise includes preclinical data translation, cancer cell biology, and managing interdisciplinary teams. She is a prolific contributor to her field, with several patents, high-impact publications, and presentations at scientific conferences.
She earned her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of British Columbia and has a distinguished record of mentorship and leadership in translational research.
