Malcolm Fraser is the Managing Partner of Nàdarra Ventures. A proven innovation leader in Canada, Malcolm has founded and exited companies, managed acceleration and incubation programs, and recently led one of Canada’s most successful early-stage venture capital funds, Innovacorp.

Malcolm knows what it takes to launch world-class companies from humble beginnings. As a seasoned entrepreneur, Malcolm has received national innovation awards for the commercialization of new technologies and has been named one of Atlantic Business’s Hall of Fame Top 50 CEO’s. Most recently he was the CEO of Innovacorp where he proved that a private sector approach to public venture funds can deliver significant results. This success was recognized by achieving the 2022 Canadian Venture Capital Association Deal of the Year for the $101 M gain on its Metamaterials Inc. holdings. A committed community leader, Malcolm participated in governance roles locally and nationally in the areas of the visual arts, medical research, and youth sports. He currently sits on the board of Credit Union Atlantic.

Malcolm has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mount Allison University and he currently holds an ICD.D certification from the Institute of Canadian Directors. Born in Nova Scotia, Malcolm lives with his family in Chester, Nova Scotia where he enjoys sailing, skiing, and working on his skills as a musician.
