Corveus Medical is developing a one-time, catheter-based solution that provides immediate relief from the symptoms and reduces the severity of chronic heart failure. Corveus’ device performs a unique, targeted nerve ablation (a procedure that destroys nerve tissue), to inactivate a sympathetic nerve branch, which provides significant benefit for class III heart failure patients by removing the signal that causes a buildup of excess fluid in the heart and lungs.
