Ucaneo is developing modular direct air capture (DAC) hardware, which mimics the way humans breathe, to remove CO2 from the air.  This biomimetic approach combines innovative solvents, (bio)catalysts and electrochemistry to lower the required energy by 3-5 times compared to traditional heat-driven DAC technologies and reduce cost to <100$ per ton of CO2 captured.
