Jaanus Tamm is a serial entrepreneur and technology enthusiast. He’s currently President and CEO of DefSecIntel, an AI powered autonomous situation awareness and surveillance platform, and Co-founder and Member of Supervisory Board at Defendec, an AI powered remote environment and premises surveillance technology. He’s Chairman of Marduk Technologies, an AI powered counter-drone platform and Member of the Board of Advisors at Hepta Airborne & Energy. In total he has over 16 years of experience in defence technologies.
Jaanus has been Member of the Board of Estonian Defence Industry Association starting 2017. Together with the association and Startup Wise Guys, he launched CyberNorth Accelerator – a dedicated acceleration program for early stage Defence AI, space and cybersecurity startups. He’s also been Fund Committee Member at Prototron Fund and Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol.
