John Redfern is currently the managing director at Arinite Capital, a boutique transaction-focused consulting firm recently spun out of Arinite HS&E with a mandate to draw on the real-life startup experience of its founding partners.

His expertise lies in startups, venture capital and commercial strategy, with a proven track record of founding and scaling high-impact ventures – including for 13 years in Shenzhen, China.

Most recently, he led “an amazing team” as President, CEO and Co-Founder of Eavor Technologies, a transformative energy technology company pioneering the world’s first truly scalable, zero-carbon, baseload energy solution.

Prior to Eavor, John co-founded LocalGravity, which delivered advanced geolocation analytics for global retail chains. Passionate about driving innovation in energy and data analytics, he is committed to fostering technologies that address critical challenges while enabling long-term growth and sustainability.

John holds a degree in Engineering Physics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Law degrees from McGill University in Montreal, and a MBA degree from INSEAD in France.
