Luke Vigeant leads Green Shield Ventures, the venture studio and innovation hub of Canada’s only non-profit Payvider, GreenShield. The studio focuses on creating and incubating health, administration, insurance, and social impact solutions that enable GreenShield to anticipate future client needs and advance its mission of Better Health for All.

Luke joined GreenShield in 2021 when the company he co-founded and led as CEO, Inkblot Therapy, was acquired. He continued as Inkblot’s President before taking on an enterprise role as SVP, Product, where he led Product, Data, and Engineering. During his tenure, he oversaw the development and launch of GreenShield+, the company’s flagship Insurance, Health, and Administration platform.

Luke’s expertise in business, product, and technology stems from a career rooted in entrepreneurship. Before Inkblot, he co-founded and served as CTO and CPO of tilr, a labor marketplace. He was also the founding CTO of Evolution Optiks, a light-field technology company. Earlier in his career, he worked as a management consultant at IBM, ran a small digital agency called Fridgelight, and was the star waiter at his wife’s restaurant, GoodLake—where Inkblot was originally built. Luke remains active in the startup ecosystem through his pre-seed investment fund, Shed Capital, and his involvement with technology accelerators and academic communities.

He holds an MBA jointly issued by NYU Stern, HEC Paris, and the London School of Economics and Political Science through TRIUM, as well as a Bachelor of Information Systems from Saint Francis Xavier University.
