Mo AlGermozi is the President, CEO, and Founder of GIT Coatings, a Canadian scale-up recognized globally as a leader in graphene-based, biocide-free marine coatings for ship hulls and propellers. Under his leadership, GIT has grown to a team of 50+ employees worldwide, scaling operations to serve 500+ vessels across 20+ countries, while maintaining 95% of revenues from exports and keeping 85% of that value in Canada.

Mo holds a BEng. in Materials Engineering from Dalhousie University and has authored multiple publications on advanced coatings. His leadership and impact have been recognized with the Clean50 Award for Clean Technology (2025), Atlantic Business Top 50 CEO, and the King Charles III Coronation Medal for his contribution to Canada’s sustainable innovation economy.

Beyond GIT, Mo is a thought leader and mentor at the Creative Destruction Lab and Dalhousie University’s Emera Idea Hub, where he supports the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.
