Pierluigi Zappacosta is an Italian-American entrepreneur and investor, best known as the co-founder of Logitech, where he served as President, CEO, and later Vice Chairman. Under his leadership, Logitech became a global leader in computer peripherals, going public in Switzerland in 1988 and on NASDAQ in 1997.

Born in Chieti, Italy, in 1950, Zappacosta earned a Laurea in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rome and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University. Beyond Logitech, he co-founded DigitalPersona, a biometric security company, and served as CEO of Sierra Sciences, a biotech firm focused on extending human healthspan.

In 2007, he co-founded the Italian Scientists and Scholars in North America Foundation (ISSNAF), where he currently serves as Secretary and Treasurer. His contributions to innovation and transatlantic collaboration have been recognized with honors such as the Commendatore al Merito della Repubblica and Cavaliere del Lavoro.
