Yu Huang

Global Head of Venture Investment & Partnership, Technip Energies

A seasoned business and investment executive, Yu Huang has over 25 years of experience building and scaling organizations at the intersection of energy, innovation, and capital. As the architect of Technip Energies’ $150M global corporate venture capital platform, she sourced over 1,000 startup opportunities and led investments that bridged breakthrough technologies with market scale. Previously, as Regional VP of Genesis Energies, she executed a successful turnaround strategy that tripled advisory revenue and doubled the team size. Yu also served as the head of strategy for Technip post-spinout, leading global initiatives in corporate development, M&A, and technology scale-up.

Yu is actively involved in the innovation ecosystem as a board director, LP advisory committee member, and a mentor to early-stage founders through the Rice Alliance, Cleantech Open, and the Rice Business Plan Competition. She holds an MBA from Rice University and is a graduate of the Wharton Venture Capital Program.
