The Commerce Stream at CDL-Atlanta brings together experienced exited entrepreneurs, leading scientists, and active investors to help scale ventures based around technologies that support the transformation of the retail and consumer packaged goods industries, and commercial exchange.
CDL startups work with these mentors to sharpen objectives, prioritize time and resources, raise capital, and engage with experts working on the frontiers of research.
The startups attend five one-day objective-setting sessions between November and July. There are no fees for participation and CDL does not take any equity. CDL is a non-profit organization. Learn more about the CDL program here.
The Commerce Stream is particularly suited to teams with a strong background in the supply chain, retail, cybersecurity, fintech, AI, data science, machine learning, deep learning, virtual and augmented reality, image recognition, robotics, and automation, who are working on projects and technologies with the potential to reinvent the retail industry throughout the distribution chain from the plant to the customer. This stream is tailored towards projects (in the process of incorporation) or early-stage ventures, especially those that are revenue and pre-seed; however, startups at all levels of maturity will be considered.
