Originally from the UK, Andrew is a seed biologist by training, BSc Hons University of Edinburgh and PhD University of Calgary. After working in academia at the University of Guelph, The National Institute of Human Sciences in Tokyo, and the National University of Singapore, Andrew established a consulting business in Singapore in 1995. While the primary target is Asia Pacific work has taken him around the world with projects in Mexico, Panama, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Russia, India and the UAE. Clients include Syngenta, Bayer, Monsanto, Tate and Lyle, Dupont Life Sciences and Nutrition (Now IFF), FAO, USDA, UNDP, UNEP, USDA, the US State Department, Austrade, GFI-APAC, University of Edinburgh, Alberta Innovates, IBioC, and governments of Canada, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Chile, India, Scotland etc. The company is also very active in consulting and training in risk communication, especially focusing on its use in communicating innovation.
