Chris Hitchen is an Australian-born, Munich-based entrepreneur and venture investor who has built and exited multiple tech companies—co-founding price-comparison site Getprice (sold to News Corp in 2010), scaling Next Commerce (acquired by Future plc in 2016), and founding the native programmatic ad marketplace Hynt (acquired by Zalando in 2017). He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Possible Ventures, backing frontier-technology teams with positive human and planetary impact, and previously ran Inventures and the Inventures Collective as his early investment vehicles. An active angel and VC, he has invested in 100+ startups and works closely with founders; he is also the founding investor and Chairman of Holidu. Earlier in his career he held roles with Lycos Europe’s Pangora e-commerce business. Chris holds a B.App.Sci from Deakin University and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
