With over 20 years’ experience, Cristina has a deep understanding of financial markets and business development and is a respected advisor with extensive experience in capital markets, corporate finance and business development. Her inquisitive nature drives her to continually seek new opportunities and broaden her horizons.

Cristina currently heads up cleantech investments as Managing Director, Canada Growth Fund Investment Management (“CGFIM”) a wholly managed subsidiary of the Public Service Pension Investment Board (“PSP”). The Canada Growth Fund is a C$15 billion independent and arm’s length public fund that is helping Canada speed up the deployment of technologies in its efforts to reduce emissions, transform its economy and support the long-term prosperity of Canadians.

Before joining PSP and CGFIM, Cristina was Managing Director, Investment Banking at National Bank Financial specializing in cleantech and decarbonization investment banking. Prior to taking on this role in 2022, she played a pivotal role in developing the bank’s Sustainability Advisory and Finance practice after initially joining the bank as Managing Director in the Energy Investment Banking group covering oil and gas clients.

Cristina has also held roles as the Vice President, Corporate Development at PrairieSky Royalty and as an equity research analyst, heading the Canadian Oil & Gas equity research team at Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd.

She holds two degrees from the University of Calgary—a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Arts (Spanish) and is a CFA charterholder.
