Dan Reed is the Managing Director at American Family Ventures. Now on their fourth fund, American Family Ventures is an early stage venture capital firm representing American Family Insurance and a host of other insurance carriers, brokers, and individual investors since inception in 2010. Dan has worked as a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group and in various strategic roles at American Family Insurance. He has experience as a principal in two start-up companies. Additionally, his work history includes a career as a professional baseball player with the Baltimore Orioles. Dan holds an MBA with a concentration in Strategic Management from the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree from Stanford University.
