Eileen Ellis is a UX research, strategic design, and foresight strategy expert who helps organizations navigate uncertainty to bring new ideas to market. She is the founder of RACER47, and in recent years has led projects for YouTube, Google Cloud, and Meta. Previously, she created the UX research methodology at SF-based startup Ridecell as the first and only user researcher. At BCG Digital Ventures, she helped clients across transportation, travel, and energy evolve ideas into freestanding startups. At Toyota North America, she oversaw the company’s proprietary trends framework and co-led projects securing $1B+ in internal funding. Early in her career, she co-founded innovation consultancy ORGE Innovation, and worked with clients like the United Nations and PowerBridgeNY to develop innovation strategies and new business models. Eileen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons The New School for Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
