Frantz Saintellemy, C.M. is a globally recognized innovator and business leader in deep technologies, with expertise spanning automotive systems, IoT, sensing, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence. He is the Co-founder and CEO of a stealth-mode, cutting-edge startup developing multimodal AI-powered perception, AI-cloud virtualization, and neural reconstruction software for next-generation automotive ADAS, autonomous driving, robotics, and industrial automation. Previously, as President and CEO of LeddarTech Holdings, he guided the company to a successful $350 million IPO on Nasdaq.
He serves on the board of Quebecor Inc. and is the 14th Chancellor and Chair of the Board of the University of Montreal. He is also a Senior Advisor at Celesta Capital, a leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm dedicated to turning deep-tech ideas into transformational companies.
Beyond his corporate leadership, Mr. Saintellemy is the Co-founder and Chair of Groupe 3737, a national non-profit innovation hub supporting entrepreneurs and technology founders through mentorship, funding, and strategic guidance. Since its inception, Groupe 3737 has helped thousands of entrepreneurs across Canada launch, grow, and scale their businesses, fostering economic inclusion and sustainable financial independence.
Over his career, he has founded or co-founded multiple startups with successful exits, authored published research, and holds numerous patents. He was a founding member of the Quebec Innovation Council, serving as Vice-Chair for four years.
Mr. Saintellemy’s contributions have earned him national and international recognition. He is a Member of the Order of Canada, recipient of the Québec Innovation Prize (2024), and has been awarded the Medals of the National Assembly of Quebec and the Canadian Senate. His accolades include being named among the Top 6 Canadian Innovators (Canadian Senate), Top 15 Real Influencers (La Presse, 2023), Global Top 50 Executive MBAs (Poets & Quants, 2020), and MBA of the Year (AMBAQ, 2021).
