Dr. George Shimizu is a professor of inorganic chemistry at the University of Calgary. He is the recipient of the Strem Award for Pure or Applied Inorganic Chemistry from the Canadian Society of Inorganic Chemistry, as well as the Petro-Canada Young Innovator Award.
