Joseph Viviano

Machine Learning Scientist, MILA

Joseph Viviano is a machine learning scientist with Mila Québec AI Institute, supporting ongoing research in the ML for science domain with Yoshua Bengio’s group. Previously, he worked as a research scientist with Deep Genomics, and the applied research team at the Mila Québec AI Institute in Montreal, and has a wide range of experience applying machine learning to domains including biology, finance, adtech, clinical research, neuroscience, medical imaging, and fraud detection.

Joseph holds both a master’s in computer science from the University of Montréal and a master’s in neuroscience from York University and has over 10 years of applied research experience.
