Kärt has been working in global financial markets since 2004 after graduating from Harvard. She has experience in both public and private markets and debt and equity investing from Citigroup’s Global Markets division in London, on both investment and corporate banking side, executing global IPO and M&A transactions and managing Citigroup’s proprietary balance sheet and liquidity.

After completing her MBA at INSEAD, Kärt was in charge of all private equity and venture capital funds investments at Barclays Wealth, from research and due diligence to execution and structuring. At European Investment Fund, Kärt was implementing the €100m Baltic Innovation Fund, participating in private equity and venture capital due diligence for Northern and Western European and CEE markets and working on initiatives relating to European Commission’s structural funds programs.

Currently, Kärt is a partner at mojo.capital, founded in 2014 together with Matthias Ummenhofer, former head of EIF’s technology investments. Through the Mojo Digital One fund they have invested in 25 European VC funds, and directly in companies such as Auto1, Transferwise and Smava and successfully exited iZettle to PayPal.

Multiple-times Estonian champion in high jump. In 1999, Kärt was named as Best Female Athletics Competitor of Estonia. Graduated from Harvard, Kärt helped Harvard win two national high jump champions in USA.
