Kent Carson

Kent has over 20 years of experience working in senior finance and strategy roles. Early in his career, Kent was VP of Finance and then Senior Vice-President and CFO of Holcim Canada, before accepting the position of CFO of publicly traded PT Holcim Indonesia. (Holcim Group was a multi-national, Swiss publicly traded company with over 10,000 employees, operating in the cement, aggregates and heavy civil construction industry). Upon returning to Canada, Kent took the position of Chief Administrative Officer for Camso in Quebec and subsequently helped sell the company to French multinational Michelin.

For the last few years, Kent was the Chief Financial Officer at LuminUltra Technologies Ltd. (LuminUltra is headquartered in the Maritimes and is a biological diagnostic testing company) and assisted the company to ramp-up during Covid by creating Covid testing assays and equipment.

Currently, Kent is the Principal at DTP Developments where he does investing and advisory work. Kent is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Ryerson University and an MBA from Dalhousie University.
