Dr. Meinrad Lugan joined B.Braun in 2020 as a board member for the Out Patient Division. In 2004 he additionally took over responsibility for the Hospital Division. Since 2022 he sits on the board of the Family Holding of B. Braun, responsible for Innovation and Technologies.
Since 2007, he is chairman of the German Medical Devices Industry Association BVMed and since 2008 Dr. Lugan is on the board of Medtech Europe, the European Medtec association.
Before 2000, he held various roles in the chemical and pharmaceutical Industry (starting from Business unit leader to CEO of a contract Manufacturing company)
He retires from B. Braun End of September 2023 and will stay active in the technology and startup environment.
