Oliver is a freelance technology author, trainer and consultant specialized in quantum technologies, his cornerstone work being “Understanding Quantum Technologies”, a comprehensive open source book (September 2021, 2022 and 2023, 1,366 pages). He also coproduce two series of podcasts with Fanny Bouton on quantum technologies. His customers range from industry users to technology providers and government. Beforehand, he was a software development engineer and R&D lead at Sogitec, a subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, had various marketing and business positions at Microsoft France from 1990 to 2005, including Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Developer Evangelism and then was a freelance technology consultant and writer in various fields like digital television, Internet of things and artificial intelligence. He has an Msc in Computer Science from CentraleSupelec (formerly Centrale Paris).
