Øyvind Fylling-Jenson

CEO, Nofima AS

For the last 12 years, Øyvind has held the position of CEO at Nofima AS – The Norwegian Institute of Food Fisheries and Aquaculture Research (390 employees, funds of 623 million NOK). Prior to this, he was CEO of Matforsk – Norwegian Institute of Feed Research and also held positions as Vice-CEO of Dynal, Managing Director of Fürst Medical Laboratory, Sales- and Marketing Director of Alpharma and responsible for Fjord Seafood’s aquaculture activities, world-wide, Managing Director of Nofima Mat AS since 2005, Chairman of the Board of Bioparken AS and the Food Programme of the Research Council of Norway and was Member of the Portfolio Board of Life Sciences at Research Council Norway from 2019. Chairman of the Board of Nord University, Bodø, Norway from August 2021.

Øyvind holds a PhD in Veterinary Medicine, University Giessen, Germany (1985) and has completed several courses in leadership and economy at IMD, Harvard Business School, Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH), The Norwegian School of Management (BI) and Scandinavian Executive Institute/INSEAD.
