Pierluigi Zappacosta is an Italian engineer and entrepreneur, co-founder of Logitech, one of the world’s leading producers of computer peripherals with $ 4.3 billion in revenues and 7.300 employees in 2024. He studied electronic engineering at La Sapienza, then obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University. In 1981, he co-founded Logitech in California, pioneering the computer mouse’s optical sensor technology. His leadership contributed to Logitech’s rise as a global player in PC accessories.
