Rob is an entrepreneur and consultant in the mining and primary materials space. His PhD in nano materials production led him to pyrometallurgy, extractive metallurgy more generally, and then the entire mining and primary metals / materials value chain. His last corporate role was Director, Applied Research and Technology for a major diversified miner, which included leadership in the mining innovation ecosystem.

Since leaving the large company world, Rob has focused on breaking rocks better as a partner at Comminution & Transportation Tech. Inc. (CTTI), Director at ReThink Milling Inc., as well as Chair at Geopyõrä, VP Mining Solutions at Muon Vision, advisor to Cetos Water, Deep Cryogenic International, and Northiana, as well as a varied consulting practice through Tech2Strat Consulting Inc. He was co-founder of Kite Company Creator and associated companies Aluminate.ai and Promet.ai. Rob remains engaged across the mining innovation ecosystem, including mentoring CDL graduate companies.
