Stefan is a recognized expert in data privacy and public affairs within the DACH digital ecosystem. He collaborates closely with leading industry associations such as BVDW, Bitkom, and IAB Europe on key regulatory topics including AI Act, Digital Services Act, ePrivacy, and GDPR. He has presented at DMEXCO, d3con, and eTail, and published for leading professional journals such as W&V and Horizont.

Stefan was instrumental in the growth of privacy scale-up Didomi, where he spearheaded enterprise sales in the DACH region. During his tenure, the company grew from 20 to 130+ employees, increased ARR from €1M to €10M+, and secured Series B funding of €34M led by Breega and Elephant. Prior to his work in the privacy technology sector, Stefan co-founded and led an e-commerce startup in the beauty industry with 20+ people.

Stefan holds a LLM (Mag. iur.) from University of Graz, and a BSc in law and business from University of Klagenfurt. He was recognized as the Best Performer of the Year 2012-13 and passed the Austrian bar exam.
