Stuart Cain

Dr. Stuart Cain is a Scientist Mentor in the CDL Global – Advanced Therapies Stream, with scientific and drug development background ranging from academic research to the biotechnology sector. Currently, he is an Associate in the Program Development and Partnerships team at adMare BioInnovations — a Canadian Life Sciences Venture that uses its scientific and commercial expertise, specialized R&D infrastructure, and seed capital to build strong life sciences companies, robust ecosystems, and industry-ready talent. His experience includes identifying, evaluating, development planning and executing high-value drug development programs. Representing adMare BioInnovations as a CDL Partner, he has been actively involved in several CDL Health-related streams since 2020. Dr. Cain holds an BSc (Hons) degree in pharmacology, and a PhD in neurophysiology / neuropharmacology.
