Taavi Veskimägi

Chairman of the Council, Estonian Defense Industry Association

Taavi Veskimägi is the Founder and Chairman of the Estonian Defence & Aerospace Industry Association. Founded in 2009 it currently represents over 130 companies in defence, space and security related industries in Estonia.

Taavi is also Partner at 2°C Ventures Venture Capital firm, a €50M fund to invest in early-stage cleantech companies in Estonia and New-Nordics. And an active angel investor to cleantech and defence start-ups.

He served 14 years as CEO of Estonian National Electricity&Gas system operator Elering AS; is former Minister of Finance and Vice Chairman of Estonian Parliament and long term civil servant of the Estonian MoF.
