Terence holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from ENSTA Paris in France, an MBA from the Wharton Business School and has over a decade of global leadership experience in the Chemical and ClimateTech industries.
Terence spent 13 years with Solvay in operations roles in France, Italy and the USA. As the Plant Manager of the West Deptford plant in the USA, he was instrumental in navigating the plant through environmental and regulatory challenges while leading the industrialization of new products to turnaround the environmental and financial sustainability of the plant. Passionate about energy, the environment and new technologies, Terence then relocated to Iceland to lead the startup and operations of Climeworks’ Mammoth plant (the world’s largest Direct Air Capture plant) while scaling up Climeworks’ Direct Air Capture technology. An explorer at heart, Terence relocated once again to Calgary. He currently works on consulting projects and is a mentor with the Scale For ClimateTech program where he advises ClimateTech startups on scaling their technology.
