Founder, Skylab

TJ has built a career at the intersection of business, artificial intelligence, and creative technology. A graduate of UBC’s Sauder School of Business, he began with a foundation in commerce and went on to launch ventures that blend creative vision with scalable, AI-driven systems.

Most notably, he founded Skylab, an AI-powered imaging platform that redefined post-production workflows for high-volume photography businesses. Under his leadership, Skylab was acquired in 2024 in a strategic move to bring cutting-edge automation into mainstream visual workflows.

TJ brings deep experience in applied AI, automation, and product design to support early-stage startups in the AI and Compute streams. When he’s not building or advising, TJ is usually on the ice, in the mountains, or chasing the next adventure.
