Yves Balkanski is the Interim Director of Institut Pascal in Paris Saclay, and Research Director at the French Atomic Energy Commission. His research focuses on the links between aerosol and climate, and the way that aerosols, through their interactions with radiation, influence both the temperatures and the hydrological cycle. Yves holds a master’s degree in Physics from Paris XI, and a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry from Harvard University.
