Joseph Viviano

Machine Learning Scientist, MILA

Joseph is a Machine Learning Scientist with Mila Québec AI Institute, supporting ongoing research in the ML for Science domain with Yoshua Bengio’s group.

Previously, he worked as a Research Scientist with Deep Genomics, and the Applied Research team at the Mila Québec AI Institute in Montreal, and has a wide range of experience applying machine learning to domains including biology, finance, adtech, clinical research, neuroscience, medical imaging, and fraud detection.

He holds both an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Montréal and an MSc in Neuroscience from York University, and has over 10 years of applied research experience.
