Initially M&A banker (Lazard. Goldman Sachs), then hedge fund investor (Citadel and smaller funds), then corporate and investment banking senior manager, Olivier Perquel played an essential role in the post-crisis restructuring of Natixis, the CIB and asset management arm of the BPCE group (Caisses d’Epargne et Banques Populaires), first as head of strategy, and in charge of the bad bank (GAPC), then as the head of the Corporate and Investment Bank. He was a member of the Senior Management and Executive Committees of the bank until 2017. He is now senior advisor to Ares Alternative Credit LLC, a leading private debt asset manager. He also invests and advises primarily in various areas, including the deeptech startup area. Finally, he is involved in a number of patronage and volunteer activities. Key investments and advisory roles in the identity verification and authentication area; and in tokenization of music rights.
