Doug Lee brings 30+ years of experience in startups, venture capital, and executive leadership to his current role as an investor and mentor to early-stage entrepreneurs. He is currently the Co-Founder of Flathead Forge, a venture builder that ‘forges’ companies building the ‘picks and shovels’ of the energy transition and the increased sustainability of legacy energy.

Doug’s career highlights include co-founding a family office, Flathead Equity Partners (FEP), in 2009, and founding and leading multiple startups through the full entrepreneurial cycle, culminating in successful exits. Notably, he bootstrapped a water treatment company, leading to a significant acquisition by a public entity, and holds numerous patents for water treatment technologies. As an active contributor to the entrepreneurial ecosystem through mentorship, speaking engagements, and publications, Doug’s mission is now focused on leveraging his experience and network to amplify outcomes for entrepreneurs and founders.
