Julien Abi Nahed

Director of Innovation, Hamad Medical Corporation

Julien Abinahed is Director of Innovation at the Itqan Clinical Simulation and Innovation Center at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar’s largest healthcare provider, where he runs the center’s innovation work, including testing and validating healthcare technologies.
He is an affiliated Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar and teaches the medtech innovation process to executive MBA students at HEC Paris. He also has experience in IP management and technology transfer, including drafting institutional IP policy, and chaired HMC’s Intellectual Property and Innovation Committee. His expertise includes identifying unmet clinical needs, technology validation, IP strategy, and clinical translation.
He holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris and a PhD from Imperial College London.
