Cime Therapeutics has built an automated compound synthesis platform that combines multi-step chemistry, direct-to-biology screening, and AI/ML integration to accelerate medicinal chemistry. Drug discovery often relies on slower, often manual, individual contributions, where only 50-100 final compounds are prepared per person per year. More modern technologies, such as nano-scale chemistry, enable faster final compound synthesis, but are limited to single-step transformations, and applications of this in direct-to-biology are limited by scaling issues in the screening stage. Cime addresses these deficiencies by generating hundreds to thousands of high-purity, encoded compounds per day, averaging one reaction every minute.
