Environmental Material Science

Environmental Material Science (EMS) has developed a battery or solar-powered remote soil sensor capable of measuring hydrocarbons, methane, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, salinity, moisture and temperature. The EMS system also includes distributor technology which mixes biostimulant (fertilizer) automomously without blocking injection lines. The soil sensor is coupled with ML software that acts as an evidence-based decision support tool to optimize soil management and provides customers with scenario planning, liability reduction, and risk management of assets. The EMS system (sensors, distributors, biostimulants) provides insights into a site’s existing and future liability without ongoing costly and intrusive investigations.
